Meet Scott Hopkins from Tar Heel Basement Systems

Hi, I am Scott. Originally from Lincolnton, NC, I now call the High Country home. I started climbing on roofs when I was 3 or 4 (going to work with my dad), and have continued in the industry ever since. I graduated from ASU with a BS in Building Science, and am an Accredited Green Building Professional through the United States Green Building Council. I served 8 years in the Army Reserve as a Parachute Rigger. While there I attained the rank of Sergeant, and was a Jump Master. I served one tour of duty overseas supporting operations OIF/OEF, and am proud of my time in the military. I enjoy reading, making things, seeing new places, and conquering mountains.
