Jared and Mike went above and beyond with our crawl space encapsulation! They installed a sump pump and dehumidifier, tackling a labor-intensive job with incredible patience and zero complaints. When they finished, I could hardly believe it was the same crawl space—it looked amazing! The project took about four days, with a long commute each way, yet their dedication never wavered. They even came back to install another door, working quickly and efficiently while delivering top-notch results once again. If you need any basement system work done, I can’t recommend Jared and Mike enough. Truly outstanding service—thank you both! ❤️

After an annual maintenance service of our crawl space encapsulation and at the suggestion of Grant we decided to move forward with a plan to stabilize an area of our foundation that was weakened for some time. Tyree and Christian came out two days later to install beams and jacks to secure that part of the foundation. Tyree explained everything that was going to happen, what it would do to stabilize the foundation, and how long it would take. Everything went very smoothly and I went into the crawlspace to inspect the work and learn how the system would add support to the foundation. Tyree explained in terms I could understand. Both men were professional and finished in the time they laid out. This is my second experience with Tar Heel and both went well.

So far so good with our basement gutters and sump pump that were installed December 2024. Fingers crossed we don't have anymore flooding!! We just had our yearly maintenance and inspection visit for our basement gutter system. The technician, Devin Hunt, was great! He was very thorough, professional, and polite, even calling me the day before our appointment to ask me in advance if I have any concerns or issues with the system.

I had many apprehensions about the job wondering if I made the right choice of contractors but when Juan S. and Alex S. rolled up to my house I was immediately blown away by their openness and politeness. They were genuinely honest in their accessment and actually told me that the treatment might not work and gave me choices of one was " no charge" and left with a smile which in turn gave me a little bit more of faith in humanity. We heard about Tarheel Basement Systems through some local radio advertisements on 2 Guys Named Chris – called and met with a very knowledgeable company representative. We decided to get some much needed basement/crawl space work done and are very happy with the finished result. The number one thing we have noticed besides the dry basement is that our air quality inside our house is so much better. That alone was worth having the work done, not having to worry about moisture and mold are just added benefits. Helene damaged the structure underneath my 110 year old house and I chose Tarheel Basement Systems to strengthen the existing structure and add additional beams and supports. My husband and I purchased a home only to find out after we closed that was literally falling down around us. After calling several companies and being told it was beyond the scope of what they could handle, we found Tar Heel. If I had only known then what I know now I would have saved myself so much time and stress and called Tar Heel FIRST. Paul, who came out originally, the Structural Engineer Bobbie and Ronnie the Project Manager were able to put a plan together to save our home. They genuinely treated our home like their own. The Foreman Gary Hacker and his Technicians Sam Jarvis and Dalton Brown who came out to do the work (along with Cory and Axel) were professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. My home will be able to stand for another hundred years because of their work. Thank you, Tar Heel.

The specific project is floor stabilization with minor lift but that isn't an option so i picked encapsulation instead (which K do intend to gave Tar Heel do, down the line). Jay Yount was great salesperson and Ceritified Field Inspector. Foreman David P and crew mates Ernesto "Nestor" and James C were knowledgeable and efficient, arrived on time and got the job done in two days. Results of the floor stabilization were communicated to me clearly before, during and after the work was performed. All my expectations were at least met. Would definitely recommend Tar Heel to friends and family.

Brandon was very informative and explained everything thoroughly during the estimate, he communicated through out and even answered a couple phone calls and text messages while he was out of town. The crew – John was the foreman and was super helpful. Called/texted each morning before they showed up, was professional and upbeat. This is not an easy job and they all were very professional. Would happily pay them for any future properties I may have. Sure fire example of, you pay for what you get. Professional, courteous, upbeat and communication was perfect. Thanks guys!

The team that did the encapsulating our crawlspace was Derrick (Foreman), Onyx and Jordan. They were great and professional. They were prompt and once they arrived they went straight to work. They unfortunately were working when it was raining and cold. Derrick kept me up to date on their process and provided pictures every day. One important part for me was that they would clean up at the end of the day. I would highly recommend them.

Worth every penny, very happy from start to finish. We opted for the complete crawl space encapsulation, moisture control, and floor leveling. When the work was done and we discovered that their original plan missed a key leveling issue, they promptly came back out and did the extra work at no charge to us. Our salesman Jay was never pushy and had the patience of an angel. Thank you to the crew including Victor, Brian, Austin, Christian, Malik, Robert and James for doing a fantastic job.
