Worth every penny, very happy from start to finish. We opted for the complete crawl space encapsulation, moisture control, and floor leveling. When the work was done and we discovered that their original plan missed a key leveling issue, they promptly came back out and did the extra work at no charge to us. Our salesman Jay was never pushy and had the patience of an angel. Thank you to the crew including Victor, Brian, Austin, Christian, Malik, Robert and James for doing a fantastic job.

Tarheel Basement was on location within 48 hours of our Web inquiry. Tarheel Basement showed up within two weeks and installed a sump pump in our crawlspace and two jacks on our main beam. Crews were professional and kept a clean work area during their two days at our residence. David P, James C, and Michael J all took time and discussed the entire process with my wife and myself. Jared and Mike went above and beyond with our crawl space encapsulation! They installed a sump pump and dehumidifier, tackling a labor-intensive job with incredible patience and zero complaints. When they finished, I could hardly believe it was the same crawl space—it looked amazing! The project took about four days, with a long commute each way, yet their dedication never wavered. They even came back to install another door, working quickly and efficiently while delivering top-notch results once again. If you need any basement system work done, I can’t recommend Jared and Mike enough. Truly outstanding service—thank you both! ❤️

From the annual inspection, Nick suggested we consider adding foundation wall insulation in the crawlspace as we did not have any under the flooring and we did have this on our list to check into. He was professional and thorough. Now the hard part, the install…team was lead by Nestor Bautista and they were on time, explained/showed exactly what they would do and how. They were all friendly, professional, cleaned up completely and finished a bit quicker than expected. Nestor then walked us through the install and provided pictures of all the crawl space areas. Now the payoff, felt almost immediately warmer in den area and am sure this will provide more efficient HVAC for us. We are a Tarheel customer for over 8 years now, from Stephen Peterson to their regular service techs, Nick Harmon, to their install teams…we will be a customer for life.

When an issue came up concerning the crawlspace door, they made sure to contact the manager and a custom door was made for the space. I did have to call and inquiry about a few things and return visits but they were reaponsive and made sure the job was done. Great install team!!

I had THBS encapsulate the crawlspace in my Raleigh home this past week. Charles, DJ, and Leonard did an amazing job! They were timely, efficient, clear communicators, and the quality of the work is outstanding. I work from home, had been having significant issues with mold exposure over the past 1.5yrs, and only recently realized what it was. Since last week I am having no further symptoms of mold exposure and my house has rapidly gotten back to normal. 54% humidity in house, and 54% in crawlspace as I type. Used to have to wear a respirator to go in crawlspace before encapsulation. I highly recommend them, and will probably have them level my driveway next! I cannot thank them enough.

I went with Tarheel Basement Systems to have my crawlspace encapsulated. I liked the Sean Madden gave but I have to admit the follow up was spotty. I was given dates work would be done but I had to call to find out exact times. I expected a little more communication but, in the end, Tarheel showed up when they said they would, and they did the work they promised. Macai and Fred did a great job encapsulating the crawlspace. I'm pretty picky and I went down and inspected things myself. There is no way I could have done a good a job as they did. The work these guys do is grueling in unsavory conditions. I had a small issue with the crawlspace door and dehumidifier pump, but both were fixed in short order. In the end I'm happy with how things turned out and I would recommend Tarheel to anyone looking to get their crawlspace encapsulated.

First I met with Jeff about Crawlspace encapsulation. He discovered 2 rotten floor Joice. Replacement of those as well as encapsulation was very reasonable. They sent out Andy and Elijah who were very efficient and considerate. The other half of the space was an open basement area. The main front wall was so wet mortar was easing out. Jeff recommended a french drain with a pump. Edward and Jeremy were not only respectful but explained every step . Thank you Tarheel Basement Crew !!

I expressed concerns about a couple of items not specifically mentioned in the contract and he assured me they would handle it. When the job was complete Juan and I inspected the entire space. It was clean and they did a professional grade job. This crew was great to work with.

The specific project is floor stabilization with minor lift but that isn't an option so i picked encapsulation instead (which K do intend to gave Tar Heel do, down the line). Jay Yount was great salesperson and Ceritified Field Inspector. Foreman David P and crew mates Ernesto "Nestor" and James C were knowledgeable and efficient, arrived on time and got the job done in two days. Results of the floor stabilization were communicated to me clearly before, during and after the work was performed. All my expectations were at least met. Would definitely recommend Tar Heel to friends and family.

He offered solutions to our problem without any pressure to buy. After meeting with John we knew that this was the company that we wanted to do business with. I have used Tar Heel Basement Systems on three different occasions and found them to do excellent work. Recently I had my existing sump pump replaced with a dual pump with a battery back up. Austin Moody and Chris Perdomo did a beautiful install and explained the operation to me. They even hauled off an old pump for me.

I recently moved home to assist my parents in caring for their 30+ year old house with a crawl space that had never been touched. It was bad and I needed help. My first point of contact with THBS was Pete Horak and I am so thankful it was. From day one Pete was dedicated to making sure my family and I were properly informed, felt safe and never felt alone during this process. Any question or concern I had, and he was ready to hop on the phone and get it handled. Even after work has been completed, my followup questions have been answered and handled quickly. I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism and hard work that Adam Canter (lead), Tim Witherspoon and Ryan Oldman displayed. They worked well together to complete the job on time and above expectations. I was impressed with the systems but even more impressed with the way it was installed, the efforts to control the dust and the cleanup that occurred throughout the job. I would suggest you ask for this crew by name. I had the work quoted by others but there was no warranty included. I think the extra money spent was well worth the quality, warranty and included follow-up inspections. The lifting peer systems installed closed the cracks in the brick veneer on the length of 3 sides of the house as planned. I observed the installation of the wall braces and could see the immediate reduction in bowing of wall. Very happy with results.

Jess W and Zack B just finished lifting a 6' x 8' concrete slab and stabilizing a much larger one that I hope will stop the leak that I am having in a basement wall. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and quite graciously willing to put up with me watching them do their work, which I found fascinating.
