Tar Heel Basement Systems prepared another meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House last week. The Friday night menu consisted of chicken and beef tacos, Spanish rice, and chips & salsa. Our Owner, Pete Burgess, made his 5th appearance in the kitchen, our customer service rep, Kelly Martinez, made her second meal at the House, and we were excited to have 2 employees volunteer that had never been before. Our service department rep, Hanna Guyton, and Assistant Production Manager, Mary Leach, were more than happy to spend the afternoon slaving away in the beautiful RMH kitchen.
Hanna exclaimed, “I LOVED IT,” when asked about her experience cooking a meal at the house. She was thankful for not only get to cook for the families, but also receive a tour of the incredible facility from an RMH staff member last Friday.
We look forward to creating another great meal at the Ronald McDonald House next month!!
