2014 Small Business of the Year

In order to be in the running for this prestigious award, a company has to be independently-owned, been in business more than five years, have fewer than 100 employees and have an owner that is active in the company. Other contributing factors include community involvement, growth, employee benefits, and innovation.

The 2014 Business North Carolina Small Business of the Year finalists are Tar Heel Basement Systems, Archer Advanced Rubber Components, Highland Brewing Company and Wray Ward. The 19th annual Small Business of the Year award luncheon will be held on Friday, December 5th at the Graylyn International Conference Center in Winston Salem. The winner of this distinguished award will be announced at the award ceremony.

Congratulations to Tar Heel Basement Systems and the other finalists for being recognized as North Carolina’s top small businesses!
