The Tar Heel team cooked their monthly meal at the Ronald McDonald House of Winston Salem last week. The dinner consisted of beef and vegetable stew over rice with toasted french bread. The April meal was prepared and cooked by Hanna, Jackie, and Garrett.
The Tar Heel volunteers were pleasantly surprised to find that they had a sous chef in the RMH kitchen that evening. Love is the name of the sprightly little girl that was encouraging the cooks throughout the night. The Tar Heel Basement Systems team was thrilled to be able to provide a home cooked meal for the dozens of families staying in the House last Thursday!
