Better Business Bureau passes Torch Ethics Award for 2015 to Tar Heel Basement Systems

After a disappointing cancellation announcement in 2014, the Better Business Bureau of Northwest North Carolina has resurrected the Torch Ethics Award for 2015. This prestigious award honors companies whose leadership demonstrates a high level of personal character, ensures that the organization’s practices meet the highest standards of ethics, and consequently generates trust among their employees, customers, and communities. The award embodies the BBB mission of advancing marketplace trust.

The 2015 BBB Torch Awards are open to all organizations physically located within the BBB’s 14 county service area. The nominees were placed in one of four categories for judging based on the number of employees:

Better Business Bureau 2015

-Over 175 employees

-51-175 employees

-11-50 employees

-1-10 employees

The BBB of NWNC selected Tar Heel Basement Systems as the recipient of the 2015 Torch Award for Ethics in the 51-175 employee category. According to the judges, Tar Heel Basement Systems exemplifies ethical practice in the workplace, is committed to helping the community and is very customer and employee focused!
