2nd Annual Blood Drive at Tar Heel Basement Systems

Wednesday, July 1st, 2015 by Jaimie Hooker

The “Team Carolinas” American Red Cross bus set up in front of the Tar Heel Basement Systems office bright and early for the 2nd Annual Blood Drive. The 2015 THBS Blood Drive kicks off summer and the “Pay it Forward” program for the employees at Tar Heel Basement Systems to give back to local non-profits.

Throughout the day, 27 employees signed up to donate and together they gave 28 pints of blood! While just one pint of blood can save up to three lives, Tar Heel was proud to overcome the goal and help many more people that are in the backyard of the community they serve.

While also donating their time and blood to a great cause, this gave the team members of Tar Heel Basement Systems a chance to grow and bond amongst each other during summer training and team building.
