The Historic town of Valdese, NC is a Waldensian Community that proudly has celebrated their heritage every year on the second Saturday of August since 1976. The festival is to celebrate the “Glorious Return” of the Waldenses that were exiled in Switzerland. Annually, the Historic Valdese Foundation provides the wonderful event of celebration with over 170 local business and food vendors. Live music will fill the streets of Downtown Valdese throughout the entire day and evening, while kids activities will be disbursed throughout the event.

On the second Sunday of every month, North Carolina’s best food trucks come together for the NC Food Rodeo. The Rodeo takes place at the beautiful Grove Winery in Gibsonville.
