Tar Heel Basement Systems Gives Back to Neighbors through Habitat for Humanity

Thursday, June 21st, 2012

Tar Heel Basement Systems, formerly High Country Basement Systems, has been giving back to the community since 2003. Whether it be a monetary donation or a simple act of volunteerism, the Tar Heel team makes a firm effort to help out whenever they can.

Habitat for Humanity is one of their primary beneficiaries. The Tar Heel crawlspace service crew completed their first Habitat home this week and plans on completing the second home early next week.

The first project was donated to a Caldwell County Habitat for Humanity family. Calvin and Sherri Wright are the proud parents of 3 daughters: Brooklyn, Anna, and Octavia. Tar Heel Basement Systems was happy to donate their patented crawlspace encapsulation system to the family, in hopes that this will assist in keeping energy costs down and air quality up.

An Avery County Habitat for Humanity family will be the lucky recipients of a Tar Heel Basement Systems crawlspace encapsulation system next week.

These two installations bring Tar Heel Basement Systems to an outstanding 16 contributions to North Carolina Habitat for Humanity.
