Never a dull moment at the Tar Heel Basement Systems office in Boone. This past weekend the High Country received close to two feet of torrential rain followed by nearly a foot of snowfall! While many people were burdened by the unpredictable weather, the kids of the company couldn’t wait to play in it. Those “kids” were none other than Tar Heel Basement Systems’ Owner, Pete Burgess, General Manager, William Blake, and Production Manager, Anthony Cass.
While tidying up the warehouse, the guys decided to build a life-sized snowman and named him “Otto”. Lead by their diligent leader, Troy, the men of Tar Heel Basement Systems gave Otto BasementGutter arms, a Trench drain mouth, tree wall fastener eyes, CrawlSeal packaging buttons and CrawlSeal liner apparel. He was topped off with Pete’s very own UNC baseball cap and a Hilti jackhammer.
When the final product was revealed, Pete announced him as our new leading BasementGutter installer!! These guys sure know how to have a good time and keep a cheerful environment at the office.
