I went into this basement project a little nervous, it seemed like a big commitment to put this amount of trust into Tar Heel Basement Systems. We had a long term problem with water ponding in the crawl space underneath our home anytime it rained. We had multiple people come out to try and diagnose the source of the leak, but none of them were 100% certain. Tar Heel Basement Systems blew me away immediately. The inspector, Dave Brereton, came out and within 15 minutes had identified the root cause as well as a plan to fix it. A few weeks later, the crew came out and completed the job in under two days. The difference is unbelievable. From Dave to the install crew, this company knows their stuff and conducts themselves professionally. A great experience, and I encourage anyone with similar problems to give them a chance. Thank you Dave and crew!

The specific project is floor stabilization with minor lift but that isn't an option so i picked encapsulation instead (which K do intend to gave Tar Heel do, down the line). Jay Yount was great salesperson and Ceritified Field Inspector. Foreman David P and crew mates Ernesto "Nestor" and James C were knowledgeable and efficient, arrived on time and got the job done in two days. Results of the floor stabilization were communicated to me clearly before, during and after the work was performed. All my expectations were at least met. Would definitely recommend Tar Heel to friends and family.

David was very professional and with the assistance of Sara Shultz put the plan in action.Today Tarheel Basement completed encapsulation system on our crawl space. Within two hours after the crew left we could feel a difference with the dehumidifier running. The work ethic of Edward, Taylor and Tim was above all expectations. There was a great deal of work to do and they accomplished it promptly, carefully and with minimal disturbance to our enjoyment of the rest of the house. I have worked with many contractors in Wilmington over the years–here's what made this experience remarkable: they showed up every day and worked all day, and they were very friendly and communicative throughout. The date I was given for this back in October was the date they showed up. No delays, and once they started, they saw it through to the end. I'm very happy with tarheel basement systems and I'm glad I chose them.

I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism and hard work that Adam Canter (lead), Tim Witherspoon and Ryan Oldman displayed. They worked well together to complete the job on time and above expectations. I was impressed with the systems but even more impressed with the way it was installed, the efforts to control the dust and the cleanup that occurred throughout the job. I would suggest you ask for this crew by name. I had the work quoted by others but there was no warranty included. I think the extra money spent was well worth the quality, warranty and included follow-up inspections. The lifting peer systems installed closed the cracks in the brick veneer on the length of 3 sides of the house as planned. I observed the installation of the wall braces and could see the immediate reduction in bowing of wall. Very happy with results.

I expressed concerns about a couple of items not specifically mentioned in the contract and he assured me they would handle it. When the job was complete Juan and I inspected the entire space. It was clean and they did a professional grade job. This crew was great to work with.
