Tar Heel Basement Systems Receives Business Journal's "Fast 50" Award

Awarded on Thursday, September 19th, 2013

Tar Heel Basement Systems was named one of the Business Journal’s “Fast 50”, an award that is given to the top 50 privately owned companies with the highest growth rate over the last 3 years.

An event was held at the Hayworth Fine Arts Center at High Point University on Thursday, September 19th to celebrate this prestigious award program and all of the winners. The 50 fastest growing companies in the Triad were chosen based on revenue and overall growth rate over the last 3 fiscal years. Accounting firm, Smith Leonard PLLC, decided the rankings once they verified all of the nominees’ financial statements and interviewed the CEO’s.

Tar Heel Basement Systems was proud to make their debut into the “Fast 50” as the 33rd fasted growing company in the Triad. Owner, Pete Burgess, credited the exponential growth to “expansion of services, innovative and creative marketing, and providing top of the line customer service every day”. Now, with offices in Boone and Winston Salem, Tar Heel Basement Systems has become the leaders in basement waterproofing, crawlspace repair, radon mitigation and foundation repair in Northwest North Carolina and Southwest Virginia.

The Fast 50 program has been in place for 15 years and is focused on honoring businesses with longevity whose success has contributed to the development of our economy and promoted entrepreneurship throughout the Triad. Congratulation to Pete Burgess and the rest of the Tar Heel Team for making the Business Journal’s 2013 “Fast 50”!
