Tar Heel Basement Systems Before & After Photos

Foundation Repair in Vilas, NC

Horizontal and stair-step cracks formed along the basement wall years ago. Wanting to prevent the issue from worsening, the Vilas, NC homeowners installed three wooden support beams. Unfortunately, throughout the years, the wooden joists began to rot becoming more of a problem rather than a solution.

Providing permanent stabilization to the cracked wall, the Basement Wall Anchor System was the best option to straighten the bowing wall. Installed in just one-day, the weight of the wall was transferred from the failing wooden support system and onto the Basement Wall Anchor System. The homeowners can now return to their renovation projects and have peace of mind, their basement wall is now permanently stabilized.

Mocksville, NC – Basement Waterproofing & Basement Wall Stabilization

This home in Mocksville, NC had water leaking into his basement when it rained hard. Often times, when a basement has water intrusion, there tends to be basement structural issues as well. In this case, water had been building up along the outside of the basement wall for so long that it began to crack and bow inward.

Tar Heel Basement Systems installed their patented BasementGutter System with a SafeDri™ Triple Sump Pump System to control the water leakage. To stabilize the failing basement wall, the team installed IntelliBrace™ beams. These beams are adjustable, allowing the wall to potentially be straightened over time. This homeowner now has a dry basement and stable foundation.

Robbins, NC – Cracked Basement Wall Stabilized

Tar Heel Basement Systems stabilized the cracked wall using the Carbon Fiber Wall Reinforcing System. The Fiber-Reinforced Polymer, known as Carbon Fiber, is 10 times stronger than steel and specifically designed to stabilize and prevent cracks from becoming larger along basement walls. The church now has a permanently stable basement wall in their classroom.

This one story lake house on High Rock Lake, once a fishing cabin, is now being transformed into a vacation home. Unfortunately, the foundation of the home had been originally built incorrectly and had started to sag and slide towards a small creek connecting to the lake. Tar Heel Basement Systems offered him and his wife a price within his budget and a solution to last him years to come. Systems design specialist Sam Agnew, foreman Josh Watson and his crew worked in harmony to install 9 IntelliJacks, 7 helical piers and 1 push pier to bring the home back to a level position and create a strong and safe foundation.

Clemmons, NC- Leaning Retaining Wall Stabilized

Three major components were causing this Clemmons, NC retaining wall to lean out. Tree roots, unstable backfill soil and hydrostatic pressure over the years had caused the brick wall to become a worry for the homeowners.

Tar Heel Basement Systems was able to stabilize the retaining wall using the Basement Wall Anchor method. Galvanized steel earth anchors and rods were connected to star anchors along the wall to prevent further movement. The leaning wall was immediately stabilized using Basement Wall Anchors.
