Triad-Based Company Named Finalist for U.S. Small Business of the Year Award

Local company will represent North Carolina small business in Washington D.C. at the U.S. Chamber's "Small Business of the Year Awards." Winston Salem-based Tar Heel Basement Systems is one of 17 finalists from across the nation to be honored at the Small Business Summit in September.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced the finalists for its annual Dream Big Small Business of the Year Award, presented by MetLife, which celebrates the achievements of small businesses and honors their contributions to America’s economic growth. The great state of North Carolina will be represented by Winston-Salem based company- Tar Heel Basement Systems.
