Tar Heel Basement Systems was honored by the Better Business Bureau of Northwest North Carolina in the 2013 Marketplace Ethics Awards.
Peter & Will’s Tar Heel Basement Systems, a waterproofing and foundation repair company, received an honorable mention in the 11-99 employee category for the Ethics Award. Tar Heel has been an A+ rated member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) for over 8 years, providing homeowners with proven, cost-efficient solutions.
Pete Burgess, the owner of Tar Heel Basement Systems, was in attendance to accept the honor from David Dalrymple, president, and CEO of the Northwest North Carolina chapter of the Better Business Bureau.
“We have been satisfying local homeowners for a decade and look forward to continuing to grow our business to satisfy the growing needs of our customers,” said Burgess. “Receiving this honor from the BBB is a testament to our hard work and dedication to giving homeowners a dry basement or crawl space and more usable space in their home.”
The Greensboro area typically receives the most average rainfall during the month of July. With that being said, Burgess encourages homeowners to make sure their sump pump is working properly and make any necessary repairs before the heavy rain hits.
The awards luncheon, which was held on April 18 at the Embassy Suites in Winston-Salem, NC honors companies and nonprofits from across the state who exemplify the importance of corporate conscience and a responsibility to uphold a fair and honest marketplace.
