Oak Ridge, NC- Sinking Garage Slab Raised

The center of the garage slab was sinking, preventing the garage door from closing completely. Additionally, the steps leading into the living area of the home were pulling away from the wall. After seeing their neighbor’s driveway restored with PolyRenewal, the Oak Ridge, NC homeowners called Tar Heel Basement Systems.

The slab team began by drilling penny-sized holes every few feet in the center of the garage. A two-part polyurethane foam called, PolyRenewal was injected beneath the slab, filling the void and raising the sinking slab back to the appropriate level. The steps are now level and the garage door closes completely. With no disruption to their property, the homeowners were able to have their garage floor restored in just half a day!
