The finished basement in this Reidsville, NC home had a finished basement with drywall and carpet. Overtime, the basement began to leak after heavy rains around the base of the drywall and carpeted floor. The homeowner wanted to prevent mold growth from taking over their finished basement by waterproofing the basement and installing new finishing material.
Tar Heel Basement Systems installed the BasementGutter and SafeDri™ Triple Sump Pump System along the entire perimeter of the basement. The drywall that was previously affected by the water damage was replaced with Wall Restoration Panels. Unlike drywall, Wall Panels are made of antimicrobial materials and will never rot or mold. The carpet was replaced with inorganic basement flooring.
