This walk in crawl space in the western part of Winston Salem, NC showed signs of mold growth and a musty smell that was affecting the living area in the home. The homeowner had to constantly run a dehumidifier in the living area of the home in hopes of keeping moisture levels low to prevent mold growth. After a failed attempt of keeping the crawl space dry, the homeowner called Tar Heel Basement Systems to evaluate their problems.
System Designed Specialist, Craig Sechrist, immediately noticed the concerns and provided the perfect solution to keep this walk-in crawl space dry and prevent mold growth. Tar Heel Basement Systems’ crew installed the CrawlSeal Encapsulation system, (an antimicrobial liner that prevents mold growth), Tar Heel dehumidifier, and the SafeDri™ Super Sump Pump System.
Foreman, Scott Ledford, and his crew transformed this crawl space into a usable, healthy, energy efficient space.
