The Tar Heel Basement Team provided a meal at the Ronald McDonald House of Winston Salem that was made with love! Each month the company has four employees volunteer their time to plan, purchase and prepare a dinner for the 50+ people staying at the RMH that evening. Our System Design team took the reins this month and cooked the families a Valentine’s Day meal that they won’t forget.
The men of Tar Heel Basement Systems were up for the challenge of cooking a meal during the “month of love” at the House. Danny, Sam and Mike have been designing systems to help improve the home of our customers for many years, but they were excited to be able to give back in a different way this week! The sales team was Joined by Tim, who handles the company’s inventory and warehouse materials. The four men represented the company well by preparing a gourmet meal for the families staying in the House this week.
The menu consisted of herbed chicken over fettuccini, topped with a spicy alfredo sauce, and a side ceasar salad. Many of families staying in the House poked their head in the kitchen to compliment the chefs on the aroma they were creating throughout the facility. The meal was a great success and the families certainly enJoyed having this homemade feast during the week of love!
