The Pay it Forward Program at Tar Heel Basement System was established in 2013 to help with community outreach in the service area, by providing assistance to at least one non-profit or organization every month.
The reason why we love to give back? We strive to improve the lives of everyone we encounter by inspiring our employees to live the Golden Rule and challenge industry standards each and every day!
The Winston-Salem office of Tar Heel Basement Systems is located off of Griffith Road. A growing area for businesses and families. In March of 2016, Tar Heel Basement Systems Joined the Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful Project and took over the Griffith Road area. By Joining the Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful Project, Tar Heel Basement Systems has pledged to complete a litter sweep of Griffith Road every other month to ensure the community surrounding the area is clean and welcoming.
Approximately seventeen (17) employees of Tar Heel Basement Systems and their family members completed the first litter pick on Saturday, April 12th. The successful litter pick up resulted in 15 bags full bags of trash and 12 bags of recycled items that were found along the roadside.
Tar Heel Basement Systems will be participating in the Keep Winston Salem Beautiful Project of Griffith Road on June 11th! To volunteer, please visit the City of Winston Salem’s website.
