Photo Album: Dobson, NC with Basement & Crawl Space Moisture Issues

Album Description

This home in Dobson, NC had a basement/crawl space combination below the first level of the home. The exposed dirt was causing high levels of relative humidity in the space, which can then cause mold, mildew, fungus growth and wood rot. The basement portion of the area had a cement floor and cinder block/brick walls which allowed water seepage when it rained.

In the dirt portion of this basement, Tar Heel Basement Systems installed a perimeter drainage system and isolated the dirt floor from the home above using CrawlSeal liner.
