Photo Album: Lewisville, NC - Lake Home's Crawlspace Sealed and Dehumidified

Album Description

This gorgeous lake-side home had been experiencing moisture problems and high humidity inside their large crawlspace for some time. Homeowner, Currin, decided to give Tar Heel Basement Systems a call to get this taken care of once and for all. Systems design specialist Garrett Atkinson, service technician Bobby Luttrell and foreman Matt Johnson worked together to lay 2387 square feet of Delta Drainage Matting and 20 mil CrawlSeal vapor barrier as well as X-Grade Crawl Space Insulation wall insulation to keep the area sealed and at a baseline temperature. All seams and possible gaps were sealed to ensure a tight fit. A new Tar Heel dehumidifier, SafeDri triple sump pump and 73 feet of Smart Drain were also installed to rid the area of any infiltrating moisture. The crawlspace and home are now dry, comfortable and healthy thanks to Tar Heel Basement Systems.
