Photo Album: Thomasville, NC - Crawl Space Recovery

Album Description

This older Thomasville, NC home was in need of TLC. After a decade of unreliable contractors and faulty work, this homeowner decided to call, Tar Heel Basement Systems. System Design Specialist, Trevor Lord, completed the inspection and noticed there was an extensive amount of wood rot due to excessive moisture and an infestation of mold. The piers and girder in the crawl space were not correctly supporting the home. System Design Specialist, Trevor Lord, designed a foolproof solution.

Tar Heel Basement Systems installed a full crawl space encapsulation system including: CrawlSeal 20mil liner, X-Grade Crawl Space Insulation, SafeDri, Tar Heel dehumidifier, IntelliJack supports along with replacing the subfloor, floor joists and wood bands. Now this crawl space is tightly sealed with proper supports.
