Brian Carey

Hi, I’m Brian!

I grew up in Delbarton, West Virginia and now I live in the wonderful town of Winston-Salem, NC. I began working for Tar Heel Basement Systems because I had been told how great of a company it is to work for. I can now attest to that as working for Tar Heel Basement Systems has allowed me to not only grow professionally but in my person life as well. Working with a team to achieve permanent solutions for our customers is what motivates me daily.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching football, playing basketball and, above all, spending time with my beautiful wife, Lucy Carey.

I look forward to being the “hero in your home!”

The homeowners now have a clean, dry, and conditioned area below their home.
The Clemmons, NC homeowners sealed the crawl space when the home was built; however, moisture was still finding its way into the space, creating a damp and musty environment. Tar Heel Basement Systems, removed the previous (thin) liner that was failing to keep moisture out and installed the 20mil CrawlSeal Encapsulation System along the walls, floor and each pier ensuring ground moisture or outside air would not enter the space. The homeowners now have a newly sealed, dry crawl space.
The mountain home would experience cold floors during the winter months, leaving the homeowners with a hefty energy bill. The homeowners were seeking a long-term solution that would eliminate the problem with moisture and cold floors while also reducing their energy bill. Tar Heel Basement Systems removed all the debris including falling insulation and a deteriorating vapor barrier. Preventing cold air from entering the space, the team sealed all foundation vents through the inside of the crawl space and installed X-Grade Crawl … Continue readingWarrensville, NC- Nasty Crawl Space Receives Energy-Saving Transformation »
Water intrusion along the interior perimeter of the crawl space became the norm for these Abingdon, VA homeowners. The thin 6mil vapor barrier under this Blowing Rock, NC home was failing to protect the living area above from summer humidity entering the space.
