Ryan Austin
Hi, I’m Ryan!
I have over a decade of experience in the home improvement and building industry. I owned my own home construction company, Band of Brothers, since 2010, which I operate with the help of my siblings–I’m one of ten! I am also an Army veteran, having served for 4 years–one of which was spent overseas in Afghanistan. Throughout my time in the Army, I quickly moved up the ranks, ultimately achieving the esteemed E5 Sargant title.
I look forward to putting my vast skills and experience to work to help our employees give homeowners a happier and healthier home.

Tar Heel Basement Systems installed the patented 20mil antimicrobial CrawlSeal Encapsulation System to prevent groundwater moisture from ruining the items stored in the crawl space.
The homeowners at this Pleasant Garden, NC residence had put off fixing their sinking sidewalk for many years until they discovered the PolyRenewal method to raising sinking slabs. Tar Heel Basement Systems stabilized and raised the sinking slab by injecting a light-weight, high density, waterproof polyurethane foam called PolyRenewal. The sidewalk leading to the front porch stairs is no longer a safety hazard for these Pleasant Garden homeowners.
Over the years the horizontal crack along this Winston Salem, NC basement wall had grown larger, creating additional cracks along the sides of the wall. Tar Heel Basement Systems was able to stabilize the unfinished basement by installing (4) IntelliBraces™. Allowing for immediate stabilization and possible straightening over time, the IntelliBrace™ System is zinc coated and corrosion resistant.
The basement of this Robbins, NC church was experiencing a large horizontal crack along their classroom wall. Having a solution that would stabilize the wall and prevent the crack from growing larger was a requirement of the church.
