Stu Messer

Hi, I’m Stu!

I am originally from Christiansburg, Virginia but have lived in Woolwine for the past few years. When I’m not hard at work, I enjoy working on any kind of vehicle I can get my hands on. Most of all, I love to spend time with my family–my beautiful wife, Jessica, and our sweet daughter Juliet. We also have 2 pups, Gibbs and Sunshine.

I spent four years in the Marine Corps, during which I worked as an IT guru, managing over 3 million dollars worth of communications equipment. I am qualified in Sharepoint and have earned multiple CCNA certifications. I have a deep understanding of the home improvement industry, having grown up helping with my family’s construction business. I also gained experience while working with Davis H. Elliot, a well-known and respected electrical contractor based out of Virginia, specializing in residential, industrial and commercial services.

I first joined Tar Heel as a Certified Field Inspector in 2016, and have since gained experience in production and business management. As Logistics Manager, I work to ensure our crews have the best equipment within arm’s reach so that they are fully equipped to improve the homes of our customers.

I look forward to helping our homeowners solve their concerns, enabling them to create a healthier home for them and their loved ones.
