James W and Matt D came out to work on the foundation and install some jacks for sagging joists. They were courteous and quick. THBS is definitely not the cheapest shop in town, but they stand behind their work and I prefer to have folks that know what they're doing operating on the most important aspects of my home. My Service Tech Matthew K did an awesome job identifying the problem (water seepage) and finding a way to address it without breaking the bank (a sump pump system). The foreman Grace H and her team were able to come out just a week or two after I scheduled the work, and they were fantastic to work with — on time, professional, friendly, and very patient even though I had a lot of questions. I would definitely recommend Tar Heel — I feel like this is one of the best investments I've made in my home.

Just had Tar Heel in Raleigh come out to do some repairs ony foundation. Eric, Q. /Blake, L./Raymundo, M. were fantastic! They went far and above with me, answering all my questions and making sure the work was perfect both below and in my home. They were kind and patient with me and made sure I undersood everything that would happen before and walked me through all the repairs after it was done. Thank you guys! Highly recommend!

Groundworks was totally awesome! We had been wanted to have our crawlspace encapsulated for years. I had planned to do it, but never got around to it. The team from Groundworks – Nick Perfitti, Isaiah Brooks, and Hunter Okonsky – came in and got the whole job done in three days! Plus, they were totally professional and courteous as well. We would definitely ask these guys back again and highly recommend that you hire them for your crawlspace waterproofing. I have now been working with John Cotten who was first my Groundworks SALES REP and is.now functioning as my PROJECT MANAGER. He has the second role as a result of the exceptional job he did in the initial role. Needless to say, agreeing to a complete crawlspace encapsulation was not an easy sell. It was a big budget, unplanned project that I resisted doing . But due to the thoroughness of John’s investigation of my issues and complete and detailed plan that addressed every one of my concerns, it was difficult to not move ahead. John knows the business of foundations- the problems and how to resolve them. His communication skills and desire to help his clients save their homes couple to create a dialog that is engaging, informative and even comforting when knowing the end result will be a better home. And after the sale, he is always reachable, responsive and makes me feel he is not only working for Groundworks, but also for me!!

Just completed installation of our basement system. The crew that did the work (James B, Trent E, Marion H, and James Wm) were excellent and kept us informed of each step in the installation and always answered any questions.
