I contracted to Tar Heel Basement Systems to insulate my crawl space and install a dehumidifier.Nyles Robinson, Daniel Jones, and Tyree McKinnie arrived at my home on-time. Nyles patiently walked me through the crawl space insulation installation process and answered my questions.He and the team promptly got to work and kept me informed along the way. The team kept a clean workspace and conducted themselves professionally and courteously. Nyles and team completed the job on-time and with high quality. Nyles reviewed the work they had done with me, and provided pictures of the work.Nyles, Daniel, and Tyree showed me the utmost respect.

Awesome job from the first sit down with Nathan, honest and open, answered all our questions and then some days after, over the phone. Ray & Greg came out to do the work, man great workers and great guys, personable and reliable, did an awesome job. We were very pleased with Greg and Ray, and Nathan sitting down with us in the beginning . Today, Tar Heel Basement Systems raised and stabilized my front concrete walkway, and it was an excellent contracting experience. The crew of Jess W. And Zach B. were punctual, called in advance with their ETA, and were professional and competent at their craft. They explained what they would be doing, completed the work being careful of my property, and ensured my satisfaction with the finished repair. I highly recommend them for concrete lifting and stabilization.

After an annual maintenance service of our crawl space encapsulation and at the suggestion of Grant we decided to move forward with a plan…

After an annual maintenance service of our crawl space encapsulation and at the suggestion of Grant we decided to move forward with a plan to stabilize an area of our foundation that was weakened for some time. Tyree and Christian came out two days later to install beams and jacks to secure that part of the foundation. Tyree explained everything that was going to happen, what it would do to stabilize the foundation, and how long it would take. Everything went very smoothly and I went into the crawlspace to inspect the work and learn how the system would add support to the foundation. Tyree explained in terms I could understand. Both men were professional and finished in the time they laid out. This is my second experience with Tar Heel and both went well.

I am a mortgage loan originator with a borrower whose home required some foundation work before we could close on his loan, so he contacted Tar Heel Basement Solutions to inquire about repairs. Jeremy Sewell came out to assist and has been such a wonderful help! Jeremy is patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable about what he is doing. I've never met anyone who goes so far out of their way to assist a client as Jeremy has, and I can't tell you how much both myself and our client appreciate him. I assist a lot of homeowners in NC with double wide manufactured homes, and I can guarantee that I will always refer them to Jeremy if they need foundation work done- and you should too!

From the time I called to request an initial revie, until the work was completed, this process was professional and convenient. Zack came and crawled around in the very tight crawl space during the initial examination and then scoped the work and cost same day with me. John C and Brian C were the service representatives performing the installation of the membrane and foam board over a two day process. These guys worked so hard and kept me informed on status the whole way. I gave 5 stars because I've had lots of service jobs performed at my home and this team and the work done exceeded my expectations.

I had THBS encapsulate the crawlspace in my Raleigh home this past week. Charles, DJ, and Leonard did an amazing job! They were timely, efficient, clear communicators, and the quality of the work is outstanding. I work from home, had been having significant issues with mold exposure over the past 1.5yrs, and only recently realized what it was. Since last week I am having no further symptoms of mold exposure and my house has rapidly gotten back to normal. 54% humidity in house, and 54% in crawlspace as I type. Used to have to wear a respirator to go in crawlspace before encapsulation. I highly recommend them, and will probably have them level my driveway next! I cannot thank them enough.

On our one year follow-up inspection, items were identified and promptly corrected. Our front porch had settled about a 1/2 inch since it was raised. Jess W and Zach B came out and FULLY explained everything they were going to do. They went about their job immediately and completed it in short order, with NO shortcuts. They explained to me why it had settled in a year's time and what it would take to fix it. They quoted me the price and it was extremely reasonable compared to me having to acquire the materials and tools to do it. It LOOKS GREAT! We could not be more pleased. Thanks so much Jess and Zach!

The team that did the encapsulating our crawlspace was Derrick (Foreman), Onyx and Jordan. They were great and professional. They were prompt and once they arrived they went straight to work. They unfortunately were working when it was raining and cold. Derrick kept me up to date on their process and provided pictures every day. One important part for me was that they would clean up at the end of the day. I would highly recommend them.

The the professional manner in which every part of the team approached the job at hand was far above my expectations. The Foreman, Shane English introduced his team Evan Boswell and Jaziah Christ to me. They were courteous, hard working, kept the job site clean and organized. They were very timely arriving at job site. No waiting on my part. They ask me several times if I had any questions. And they placed items back where they needed to be. I have several other projects in mind for Tarheel Basement Solutions. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your projects.
