When an issue came up concerning the crawlspace door, they made sure to contact the manager and a custom door was made for the space. I did have to call and inquiry about a few things and return visits but they were reaponsive and made sure the job was done. Great install team!!

Tar Heel Basement Systems is a great company! Of course we all know a company is only as good as the people who represent it. And I must say, Jagwon and Stanley who installed my basement system clearly are proud of their product and of their company. These two men arrived on time, were extremely polite and courteous, worked hard and very fast to give me (the client) the best job possible. Jagmon spent the necessary time with me to answer all my questions and kept me in the loop so I knew what all the steps were and why they were important. My only regret is I only have one basement to do. But you can bet I will be telling my friends and neighbors where they must go for solving their basement issues…Tar Heel Basement Systems!

We used Tar Heel Basement Systems repair a rotted sill beam on the front of our 100+ year old house. From the time Clint showed up to do our estimate untill the crew left having completed the work it was a great experience. Clint was very thorough and ensured we understood everything before he left. When the crew arrived the Foreman, Evan spoke in terms I as the homeowner could understand. He went over everything again and made sure I knew the scope of work, the time line, etc. Matt and Cody did a great job. They made quick work of getting all the old insulation out of the crawlspace. They all did a great job with the structural work and that did one last walk around and picked up all the old insulation down to the smallest pieces. Very professional crew

We just had our yearly maintenance and inspection visit for our basement gutter system. The technician, Devin Hunt, was great! He was very thorough, professional, and polite, even calling me the day before our appointment to ask me in advance if I have any concerns or issues with the system.

We recently had a crawlspace encapsulation by Tarheel Basement of Winston Salem. John Reavis came out to do an inspection. He was professional, and did a thorough inspection of our crawlspace. He answered all our questions and offered solutions without pressure to buy. We knew after meeting with John that this was the company that we wanted to do business with. Crew leader Brian Carey along with Leo and Stephon did a great job making our crawlspace look great. They showed up on time and Brian went over the work details for each day. Ken, Stephen, and Jael were knowledgable, courteous, personable and professional. The job was completed in 2 and a half days. They hauled away the old liners and left the site spick and span. They kept us fully updated on the process. We also appreciated their attention to detail. They supplied us with a photo of a plumbing issue under the house of which we were unaware. Nyles walked me through all the work they were going to do, he clearly explained it and was very patient with me, and all my questions; even as I crawled around their work space, they took the time to answer all of my questions. As an artisan I can tell when someone has done good, mediocre or bad work. Even if you don't know the work itself, you can tell by how the work is being performed, executed and completed; the detail and dedication to the work itself. From start to finish, everything went great. Jay was thorough and answered ALL of our questions. He even reviewed the competition's proposal! The communication was fantastic every step of the way. The installation was a complicated one being that we have a 100+ year old farmhouse. Tyrese and Stephen had quite the challenge! They did a phenomenal job and really went above and beyond. I have used Tar Heel Basement Systems on three different occasions and found them to do excellent work. Recently I had my existing sump pump replaced with a dual pump with a battery back up. Austin Moody and Chris Perdomo did a beautiful install and explained the operation to me. They even hauled off an old pump for me.

It was finished in three days and after inspection, I was informed that it was the “best install that they had seen, and that It appeared they had gone above and beyond”. It was very expensive, but I hope in the long run it was worth it.

We had some downspouts installed. I’ll admit the first work that was done was apparently done incorrectly by one of the installers because we had worse problems and the work in general is not what I expected. (Based on previous and unrelated work by the same company). However, once it was brought to the company’s attention they responded quickly and stood behind their commitment and returned to handle repairs correctly. So far we are pleased with the repaired work..esthetically. We will need some rain before I can speak to resolution success.

I was very pleased with this young man's professionalism, ability and customer care. He very efficiently diagnosed the problems with my sump pump and dehumidifier. He then proceeded to clean and replace/update or repair old or worn out parts. I asked a trillion questions and he very patiently explained to me my system(s) and how they worked. His commitment to go the extra mile is much appreciated. I highly recommended the company, the equipment and the service tech.

My inspector, Carter Lassiter, was very professional and educational in helping me understand exactly what I needed to have done underneath my house to ensure my 100 yr+ historical home remained in tact. Prior to Carter coming out, I had paid another company to do what I thought was going to fix my crawl space and unfortunately after one year I started to see issues arise again. Wood rot, moisture, etc. When Sam and Josh (the production team) arrived, they were just as professional and informative of the work they would be doing in my crawlspace. I felt confident from the first inspection all the way to the production team who completed the work to correct and truly fix my crawlspace. Having a warranty from Tarheel Basement makes me feel much more comfortable this go round compared to who I used before. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND
