Tar Heel Basement Systems is Chief Benefactor at Annual Fundraiser

Boone. With an astounding $2000 donation, Tar Heel Basement Systems was the Platinum Sponsor for Bonne Service League’s largest annual fundraiser, Motown in the Mountain and Silent Auction.

The Boone Service League is a volunteer women’s organization that encourages civic service in the High Country.  We promote the well being of individuals and non-profit organizations in Watauga, Avery, and Ashe counties through financial assistance and hands-on projects.  Additionally, we give several thousand dollars away annually in the form of competitive grants to non-profits and scholarships to middle school and college students.

Tar Heel Basement Systems’ Office Manager, Sydney Blake, has been a part of this non-profit organization for many years and was overjoyed to hear that her company was one of the fundraisers largest benefactors. This event is largely responsible for the thousands of dollars given through grants to local non-profit organizations. Throughout the year Service League members are busy in various community programs meeting a multitude of needs.

Many of the Tar Heel Basement Systems Team attended the charity event to show their support for the cause. The event was a huge success; an evening of fun, friends, and nostalgia. (See Photos Below)

“I was very happy to see so many of our employees at the fundraising showing their support,” commented General Manager, Will Blake.

“We were more than happy to make a donation to Boone Service League. I will continue to give back to the communities in every way I can,” exclaimed Owner, Pete Burgess.
