Ken, Stephen, and Jael were knowledgable, courteous, personable and professional. The job was completed in 2 and a half days. They hauled away the old liners and left the site spick and span. They kept us fully updated on the process. We also appreciated their attention to detail. They supplied us with a photo of a plumbing issue under the house of which we were unaware. So I spent a LOT of money to ensure my crawl space was properly protected and encapsulated. I had both Charles and DJ who worked non stop to complete the entire job within a day. We recently had a crawlspace encapsulation by Tarheel Basement of Winston Salem. John Reavis came out to do an inspection. He was professional, and did a thorough inspection of our crawlspace. He answered all our questions and offered solutions without pressure to buy. We knew after meeting with John that this was the company that we wanted to do business with. Crew leader Brian Carey along with Leo and Stephon did a great job making our crawlspace look great. They showed up on time and Brian went over the work details for each day. Eric Townsend also came out afterwards to check the equipment. Everyone with Tarheel Basement was great. We could not be happier with the result and we are so happy we chose this company!

So beyond pleased with Tarheel Basement Systems! I'm a 2-year customer as of this week. A complete encapsulation, french drains, sump pump and dehumidifier. I receive an inspection each year around this time, my representative was John Snow, was amazing, so polite, punctual, kept me up to date on his arrival via text and phone, it was so pleasant seeing someone who "gets" customer service , and John does! He informed me my dehumidifier was not working, and would be replaced under warranty, and like clockwork as John said, he replaced it today! The easiest replacement ever, he arrived worked diligently, above and beyond! Again, beyond pleased!

I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism and hard work that Adam Canter (lead), Tim Witherspoon and Ryan Oldman displayed. They worked well together to complete the job on time and above expectations. I was impressed with the systems but even more impressed with the way it was installed, the efforts to control the dust and the cleanup that occurred throughout the job. I would suggest you ask for this crew by name. I had the work quoted by others but there was no warranty included. I think the extra money spent was well worth the quality, warranty and included follow-up inspections. The lifting peer systems installed closed the cracks in the brick veneer on the length of 3 sides of the house as planned. I observed the installation of the wall braces and could see the immediate reduction in bowing of wall. Very happy with results.

I talked with 3 companies regarding a moisture/mold problem in my basement and was most impressed with Tar Heel Basements. The initial inspector was thorough and knowledgeable, spending more time checking my foundation both inside and out than Tar Heel's competitors. He answered a lot of questions and assisted with the interest free financing. It was an expensive repair that I was very stressed about, but Tar Heel made it as easy as possible. Once the scheduled week arrived, the technicians provided advanced notice of arrival each day, and showed up on time or early. They kept me informed throughout the process and answered numerous questions. They hung plastic to protect my belongings from the dust and advised regarding their findings (such as termites) as they removed walls and insulation. They coordinated with the electricians for installing power to the sump pump and made sure they cleaned up. Tar Heel kept everything clean and even mopped my floor once the work was completed. I'm very appreciative of Nathan Griffin, Zac Mathis, and James Passmore for their hard work, and the care and consideration they provided while working in my home.

Jay Yount was great salesperson and Ceritified Field Inspector. Foreman David P and crew mates Ernesto "Nestor" and James C were knowledgeable and efficient, arrived on time and got the job done in two days. Results of the floor stabilization were communicated to me clearly before, during and after the work was performed. All my expectations were at least met. I was very pleased with the service that that John, Jr and Brady a performed. John went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied. He is a very knowledgeable person and knows what he is doing. I enjoyed talking with him he is a very good people person. If I were to need any more service from this company I would definitely ask for Jr. He made sure that my doors would all latch due to jacking up the floors and made all the necessary adjustments to see that they did so. The guys just wrapped up at my house today. Tylor, Andrew and Stephen did a great job. They were prompt, communicated well and were happy to answer all of my questions. Corey was quick to come out and get a plan of action, which was much appreciated. With remodeling my home I’ve found it’s rare to have a great crew that executes as planned, arrives when scheduled, and leaves things cleaner than when they started. Tar Heel has just that. As a whole they have been a pleasure to work with and I have no complaints. Excited to have peace of mind when it comes to my basement.

Best company ever. So conscientious. They understand your home is your biggest asset and any problems with it can induce great anxiety. Tyler was my technician at my annual inspection last week. He was on time (on the dot!) and very, very thorough. I appreciate this company that saw me through an extremely trying process in the best of times. At the time of the original basement restoration (2021), I was in the midst of terrible person trouble and they stuck with me until the end of the project. KUDOS to THBS and Tyler! Cannot recommend them enough and frequently do recommend them to anyone who needs this type of work.

I went with Tarheel Basement Systems to have my crawlspace encapsulated. I liked the Sean Madden gave but I have to admit the follow up was spotty. I was given dates work would be done but I had to call to find out exact times. I expected a little more communication but, in the end, Tarheel showed up when they said they would, and they did the work they promised. Macai and Fred did a great job encapsulating the crawlspace. I'm pretty picky and I went down and inspected things myself. There is no way I could have done a good a job as they did. The work these guys do is grueling in unsavory conditions. I had a small issue with the crawlspace door and dehumidifier pump, but both were fixed in short order. In the end I'm happy with how things turned out and I would recommend Tarheel to anyone looking to get their crawlspace encapsulated.

Tar Heel Basement Systems is a great company! Of course we all know a company is only as good as the people who represent it. And I must say, Jagwon and Stanley who installed my basement system clearly are proud of their product and of their company. These two men arrived on time, were extremely polite and courteous, worked hard and very fast to give me (the client) the best job possible. Jagmon spent the necessary time with me to answer all my questions and kept me in the loop so I knew what all the steps were and why they were important. My only regret is I only have one basement to do. But you can bet I will be telling my friends and neighbors where they must go for solving their basement issues…Tar Heel Basement Systems!

We are very satisfied with our decision to have Tarheel basement systems encapsulate our crawl space. From the sales rep(Daniel Pike) to the installation by Robert Hacker,Austin Moody and Kenny we received in our opinion very professional services. The 3 gentlemen that performed the installation kept us informed and communicated exactly what they were doing from the time they were in route to the time they finished each day. They were very efficient, productive and the quality of their work was excellent! They were polite and respectful! I doubt that there is another company out there that can match the excellence of Tarheel basement systems!
