To make this necessary maintenance easier for our homeowners, we have created a multi-year Service Plan Agreement that allows homeowners to receive priority scheduling and save with annual service discounts!  

When questions arise about your system, some homeowners may not know who to contact. By having Tar Heel Basement Systems service your system annually, you can ensure it is working properly and effectively, reducing the need for service emergency calls and increasing the life expectancy of your entire system. Every annual service comes with a thorough inspection of each component of your system and a complimentary home evaluation for other concerns you may have. Our dedicated Service Department is here to ensure your system is working properly at all times.

Encapsulation & Waterproofing Services:

• Cycle & water test sump pump operations
• Clean sump system liner of sediment and silt
• Change the battery in the Battery Backup System
• Flush & flood test BasementGutter system as necessary
• Evaluate discharge line(s) & potential for freezing
• Ensure there are no rips or tears in your CrawlSeal system

Wall Stabilization Services: 

• Re-tighten to the appropriate torque
• Evaluate IntelliBrace™ and/or wall anchor plates
• Benchmark the position of the wall(s) at each location
• Remove excess anchor rod
• Perform an inspection of the foundation, grading & gutters

 Dehumidification & Indoor Air Quality Services:

• Check relative humidity set point
• Inspect filter
• Clean heat exchange core & evaporator coil
• Clean drain pipe
• Inspect blower, wires/connections & refrigeration system
• Check components of the APCO lighting system
• Change APCO bulb if needed
