A great overall experience with Groundwork’s! Wonderful communication, knew exactly what to expect and when the work was scheduled to start. Ray & Greg came out to do the work, man great workers and great guys, personable and reliable, did an awesome job. We were very pleased with Greg and Ray, and Nathan sitting down with us in the beginning . The 3 guys who worked at my house were amazing. Gary Hacker has the best skills of any worker I"ve ever encountered. Ben Palmer and Axel Perez were also awesome. I will recommend Tar Heel Basement to everyone. I am 67 and the work that Gary Hacker, Ben, and Axel did on my floors will out last me by years. If I could adopt all 3 of them I would.

Cannot recommend more highly. Tim Martin came out and knew immediately what to do. Professional crew created new drainage trough and installed a newer, more effective sump pump. Great communicators, prompt and swift service and fully warranted service. Exactly the kind of company I like doing business with. Would not hesitate to call them for help again and again (but, hope I don't have to…hah!!). Well done Tim Martin!

I went with Tarheel Basement Systems to have my crawlspace encapsulated. I liked the Sean Madden gave but I have to admit the follow up was spotty. I was given dates work would be done but I had to call to find out exact times. I expected a little more communication but, in the end, Tarheel showed up when they said they would, and they did the work they promised. Macai and Fred did a great job encapsulating the crawlspace. I'm pretty picky and I went down and inspected things myself. There is no way I could have done a good a job as they did. The work these guys do is grueling in unsavory conditions. I had a small issue with the crawlspace door and dehumidifier pump, but both were fixed in short order. In the end I'm happy with how things turned out and I would recommend Tarheel to anyone looking to get their crawlspace encapsulated.

I had a sump pump installed by Josue and Dom who were both very professional and courteous. I was called ahead of time and upon arrival everything was explained in detail. They did a great job ensuring the pipe and drain looked nice and everything was returned as they found it. Josue showed me photos at completion of the job and answered all of my questions.

Tar Heel is a great company to work with from start to finish. Jamie came out for the initial inspection and estimate. I was very impressed with his knowledge. Later, when I had some unexpected expenses, he was able to modify the project to fit within my revised budget. The finished project was perfect. The workers were punctual, efficient, and neat. They explained everything before leaving and were very pleasant. And my basement has stayed dry! I would recommend Tar Heel for any basement project.

Groundworks was totally awesome! We had been wanted to have our crawlspace encapsulated for years. I had planned to do it, but never got around to it. The team from Groundworks – Nick Perfitti, Isaiah Brooks, and Hunter Okonsky – came in and got the whole job done in three days! Plus, they were totally professional and courteous as well. We would definitely ask these guys back again and highly recommend that you hire them for your crawlspace waterproofing. Great experience! Both Ian and Daniel installed my Aquastop Gutter System. They arrived on time, very professional, kept me posted on the daily progress and what it entailed.
