Before leaving they had videos and pictures to show the crawl space improvement. These folks show up! There was very little time between the initial call and completion of the job.

We had the "A Team" (Nyles R. Jeff T. and Tyree M.) come out to do our crawl space, and they lived up to their title. Nyles walked me through all the work they were going to do, he clearly explained it and was very patient with me, and all my questions; even as I crawled around their work space, they took the time to answer all of my questions. As an artisan I can tell when someone has done good, mediocre or bad work. Even if you don't know the work itself, you can tell by how the work is being performed, executed and completed; the detail and dedication to the work itself. Nyles, Jeff and Tyree, the "A Team", were Awesome!

Tar Heel is a great company to work with from start to finish. Jamie came out for the initial inspection and estimate. I was very impressed with his knowledge. Later, when I had some unexpected expenses, he was able to modify the project to fit within my revised budget. The finished project was perfect. The workers were punctual, efficient, and neat. They explained everything before leaving and were very pleasant. And my basement has stayed dry! I would recommend Tar Heel for any basement project.

So I spent a LOT of money to ensure my crawl space was properly protected and encapsulated. I had both Charles and DJ who worked non stop to complete the entire job within a day. They did an excellent job and helped me inspect the crawl space myself (yes I crawled around, sheesh!) These guys were hard working, thoughtful and diligent! We contacted Tarheel Basement Systems because, despite the fact that our home in Stokesdale was only 2 years old, it had a musty smell and shockingly we were beginning to see some mold spots on and around vents and in closets, including clothes. They sent out a representative (Harlan) promptly, on a Saturday, who inspected the crawl space, took readings of humidity in the wood and the insulation and overall air, took schematics of the crawl space, and plenty of pictures. He discussed the cost and options with us, taking his time, including financing options. He was extremely thorough, and we agreed on the scope of the work and cost. They initiated the project, with Jacob C and Terrence A arriving at our home early in the morning. Jacob and Terrence were extremely courteous and professional, dropped off some initial documentation, and got to work. I did not have to be home but was able to work from home for the duration of their visit and I can tell you that they worked hard for two days beginning early in the day until late afternoon. Other than leaving for home after Day 1, they did not leave the site and took minimal break time during the entire duration of their stay. Peeking out from time-to-time they took their time cutting the materials to size, and when the project was over recapped with me what they had done. My wife and I are extremely appreciative of Jacob C, Terrence A, Harlan, and the entire team at Tar Heel Basement Systems and would not hesitate to enlist them again!

Jay Yount was great salesperson and Ceritified Field Inspector. Foreman David P and crew mates Ernesto "Nestor" and James C were knowledgeable and efficient, arrived on time and got the job done in two days. Results of the floor stabilization were communicated to me clearly before, during and after the work was performed. All my expectations were at least met. Would definitely recommend Tar Heel to friends and family.

Brandon was very informative and explained everything thoroughly during the estimate, he communicated through out and even answered a couple phone calls and text messages while he was out of town. The crew – John was the foreman and was super helpful. Called/texted each morning before they showed up, was professional and upbeat. This is not an easy job and they all were very professional. Would happily pay them for any future properties I may have. Sure fire example of, you pay for what you get. Professional, courteous, upbeat and communication was perfect. Thanks guys!

Zach Wallace was the inspector that came out to do my yearly maintenance. He was absolutely phenomenal, and reaffirms why I choose Tar Heel basement and am able to have peace of mind and put my trust in this company. He was prompt, transparent, and thorough with his inspection, as well as being patient, friendly, and very professional. He sat down and explained everything he found, what he would recommend, and made me feel that he did have my best interest at heart and that I was being taken care of, which is rare to find now.

I recently had a drain and sump pump added to my basement garage. The process was simple and easy from getting them estimate to the work completed. The 3 gentlemen Ken, Stephen and Michael T. called when they were on the way. When they arrived, they introduced themselves and walked me through what was going to be done. The work was done quickly and there was no mess left behind, just a great system that has dried out my basement garage wall and gotten rid of the smell.

I talked with 3 companies regarding a moisture/mold problem in my basement and was most impressed with Tar Heel Basements. The initial inspector was thorough and knowledgeable, spending more time checking my foundation both inside and out than Tar Heel's competitors. He answered a lot of questions and assisted with the interest free financing. It was an expensive repair that I was very stressed about, but Tar Heel made it as easy as possible. Once the scheduled week arrived, the technicians provided advanced notice of arrival each day, and showed up on time or early. They kept me informed throughout the process and answered numerous questions. They hung plastic to protect my belongings from the dust and advised regarding their findings (such as termites) as they removed walls and insulation. They coordinated with the electricians for installing power to the sump pump and made sure they cleaned up. Tar Heel kept everything clean and even mopped my floor once the work was completed. I'm very appreciative of Nathan Griffin, Zac Mathis, and James Passmore for their hard work, and the care and consideration they provided while working in my home.

I went into this basement project a little nervous, it seemed like a big commitment to put this amount of trust into Tar Heel Basement Systems. We had a long term problem with water ponding in the crawl space underneath our home anytime it rained. We had multiple people come out to try and diagnose the source of the leak, but none of them were 100% certain. Tar Heel Basement Systems blew me away immediately. The inspector, Dave Brereton, came out and within 15 minutes had identified the root cause as well as a plan to fix it. A few weeks later, the crew came out and completed the job in under two days. The difference is unbelievable. From Dave to the install crew, this company knows their stuff and conducts themselves professionally. A great experience, and I encourage anyone with similar problems to give them a chance. Thank you Dave and crew!

I contacted Tar Heel about a moldy nasty crawl space, Jay Yount came out to inspect and came up with a great plan to fix it. Was very knowledgeable and through with the inspection. They were quick to schedule the work. Luke Evans, Julian Bruno, Jonathan Ruiz did exactly what they said they would do, a great job. Everyone was on time and worked very hard. We found Target Basement Systems and they got it fixed within a week. There work was precise and attention to detail excellent. We were very pleased with how quickly they scheduled our repair (the next week). They showed up exactly as promised and it looks great. You can’t even tell it was repaired. The specific project is floor stabilization with minor lift but that isn't an option so i picked encapsulation instead (which K do intend to gave Tar Heel do, down the line). Jay Yount was great salesperson and Ceritified Field Inspector. Foreman David P and crew mates Ernesto "Nestor" and James C were knowledgeable and efficient, arrived on time and got the job done in two days. Results of the floor stabilization were communicated to me clearly before, during and after the work was performed. All my expectations were at least met. Would definitely recommend Tar Heel to friends and family.

From the time I called to request an initial revie, until the work was completed, this process was professional and convenient. Zack came and crawled around in the very tight crawl space during the initial examination and then scoped the work and cost same day with me. John C and Brian C were the service representatives performing the installation of the membrane and foam board over a two day process. These guys worked so hard and kept me informed on status the whole way. I gave 5 stars because I've had lots of service jobs performed at my home and this team and the work done exceeded my expectations.

I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism and hard work that Adam Canter (lead), Tim Witherspoon and Ryan Oldman displayed. They worked well together to complete the job on time and above expectations. I was impressed with the systems but even more impressed with the way it was installed, the efforts to control the dust and the cleanup that occurred throughout the job. I would suggest you ask for this crew by name. I had the work quoted by others but there was no warranty included. I think the extra money spent was well worth the quality, warranty and included follow-up inspections. The lifting peer systems installed closed the cracks in the brick veneer on the length of 3 sides of the house as planned. I observed the installation of the wall braces and could see the immediate reduction in bowing of wall. Very happy with results.

We had some downspouts installed. I’ll admit the first work that was done was apparently done incorrectly by one of the installers because we had worse problems and the work in general is not what I expected. (Based on previous and unrelated work by the same company). However, once it was brought to the company’s attention they responded quickly and stood behind their commitment and returned to handle repairs correctly. So far we are pleased with the repaired work..esthetically. We will need some rain before I can speak to resolution success.

I've never met anyone who goes so far out of their way to assist a client as Jeremy has, and I can't tell you how much both myself and our client appreciate him. Big big shout out to the guys who came and did all the work under my house, they didn’t complain or fuss the entire four days they were here, job was done professionally and in a very timely manner, highly highly recommend this company for any kind of work you need done on your basement/crawlspace.
