Thanks to the awesome crew of Isaiah, Hunter, and Manny, I can now use my treadmill without wondering whether my sunroom floor and I are both going to fall through! The team replaced damaged floor joists and installed new wood girders, completing a substantial structural repair in only two days. They worked tirelessly, despite the extreme heat and humidity, yet remained hard-working, professional, friendly, and respectful of my home throughout the entire job. The foreman, Isaiah, was exceptional. He was thorough, knowledgeable, attentive to every detail, and genuinely warm and personable. His excellent leadership was reflected in the quality, care, and efficiency of the entire crew. I’m incredibly grateful for their outstanding work and would recommend this company and team without hesitation.

Today, Tar Heel Basement Systems raised and stabilized my front concrete walkway, and it was an excellent contracting experience. The crew of Jess W. And Zach B. were punctual, called in advance with their ETA, and were professional and competent at their craft. They explained what they would be doing, completed the work being careful of my property, and ensured my satisfaction with the finished repair. I highly recommend them for concrete lifting and stabilization.

Nyles patiently walked me through the crawl space insulation installation process and answered my questions.He and the team promptly got to work and kept me informed along the way. Jess W. and Zack B. spent the better part of a day working on our driveway. There was considerable bump up from the drive into the garage and large cracks throughout. When we saw the finished product, we were astonished at how 'normal' it looked! We won't have that large bump to navigate the car into the garage and the driveway is well-patched and smooth. I can't thank this remarkable duo enough for their hard work!

Zach Wallace was the inspector that came out to do my yearly maintenance. He was absolutely phenomenal, and reaffirms why I choose Tar Heel basement and am able to have peace of mind and put my trust in this company. He was prompt, transparent, and thorough with his inspection, as well as being patient, friendly, and very professional. He sat down and explained everything he found, what he would recommend, and made me feel that he did have my best interest at heart and that I was being taken care of, which is rare to find now.

My Service Tech Matthew K did an awesome job identifying the problem (water seepage) and finding a way to address it without breaking the bank (a sump pump system). The foreman Grace H and her team were able to come out just a week or two after I scheduled the work, and they were fantastic to work with — on time, professional, friendly, and very patient even though I had a lot of questions. I would definitely recommend Tar Heel — I feel like this is one of the best investments I've made in my home.

After an annual maintenance service of our crawl space encapsulation and at the suggestion of Grant we decided to move forward with a plan to stabilize an area of our foundation that was weakened for some time. Tyree and Christian came out two days later to install beams and jacks to secure that part of the foundation. Tyree explained everything that was going to happen, what it would do to stabilize the foundation, and how long it would take. Everything went very smoothly and I went into the crawlspace to inspect the work and learn how the system would add support to the foundation. Tyree explained in terms I could understand. Both men were professional and finished in the time they laid out. This is my second experience with Tar Heel and both went well.
